The documents submitted in the admission process must meet several criteria. The following are the admission requirements that the applicant must submit.
- Bachelor’s degree certificate from an accredited study program in the field of science that is in accordance and related to the Master in Architecture program. Foreign applicants must have an approved degree certificate from DIKTI (Indonesia’s Directorate General of Higher Education). Letter of graduation status will not be processed.
- Original transcript with Grade Point Average at bachelor level or equivalent, with the following criteria:
- ≥ 2.50 on a scale of 4 or equivalent, for applicants graduating from A-accredited study programs, or;
- 2.75 on a scale of 4 or equivalent, for applicants graduating from B-accredited study programs, or;
- ≥ 3.00 on a scale of 4 or equivalent, for applicants graduating from C-accredited study programs.
- Accreditation certificate of a study program with bachelor level or equivalent at the time of applicant’s graduation, proved by the certificate’s scanned file or the print-screened file from valid DIKTI website. Study programs whose accreditation is in the process of being extended, can be proved by a letter of accreditation documents submission from DIKTI, not the submission letter from the concerned university. Accreditation certificates from foreign applicants must be submitted in the form of the Decree of Foreign Degree Equalization from DIKTI.
- Certificate of Academic Potential Test results with a minimum score of 450 and proved by a valid certificate (valid through the maximum of two years from the date of the issued certificate). Applicant must submit the result of one of the following Academic Potential Tests:
- Academic Potential Test (TPA) BAPPENAS
- Postgraduate Academic Potential Test (PAPs) UGM
- Indonesian Psychology Association’s Basic Academic Ability Test (TKDA HIMPSI)
- Certificate of English Proficiency Test result with a minimum score equivalent to ITP TOEFL 400 and proved by a valid certificate (valid through the maximum of two years from the date of the issued certificate). Applicant must submit the result of one of the following English proficiency tests:
- Academic English Proficiency Test (AcEPT) from UGM;
- International English Testing System (IELTS) from institutions approved by IDP;
- Internet-Based (iBT) TOEFL from institutions approved by IIEF;
- Institutional Testing Program (ITP) TOEFL from institutions approved by IIEF;
- Test of English Proficiency (TOEP) from Indonesian Test Service Center (PLTI–Pusat Layanan Tes Indonesia) approved by DIKTI.
- Confidential recommendations from two people at the previous education level.
- Medical certificate of good health from government or private hospital or clinic.
- Interest projection containing research topic and interest plans, reasons and expectations for joining the program, and plans after completing the program.
- Letter of assignment to study from the institution for the applicants who are currently working.
