Studio, based on the regulations regarding UGM’s Organizational Structure and Work Procedures (SOTK), is used to conduct educational, research, and community service activities, and is categorized as or equivalent to a laboratory (closed/open), workshop, practice space, monitoring station, or other equivalent types. For the field of architectural science, the studio is not merely a supporting facility, but plays a highly important role in delivering high-quality architectural design education.
Studio courses for the Architectural Design Concentration begin in the second semester and are taught by lecturers whose expertise is required to support the needs of the studio within this concentration.
